These pieces are made from porcelain, or recycled and mixed clay bodies (porcelain and stoneware), fired with either matte clear or satin matte glazes, or left unglazed.
Nurse logs and Branchy Goodness
Always obsessed with fungi, moss, lichen and other earthy delights, this collection was inspired by a trip to the serenely beautiful pacific northwest. It was in the majestic Olympic National Park, with it’s miles of moss-covered maples and treasured forest floors, that I learned to appreciate a good nurse log. So much beauty and life coming from so much decay.
